All draft beer systems and beer towers by Celli S.p.A. are available in a complete variety of body styles and are already equipped with a tube that features some special characteristics; the material used is in stainless steel Aisi 301/316, as well as the bushing at the outlet, where it comes into contact with the tap. The application of this bushing takes place through expansion, and not for welding. This way, the drink comes into contact exclusively with Aisi 301/316 stainless steel, specific for use with food products, avoiding the transfer of flavors and oxidations due to welding.

The correct cleaning process of a draft beer tap and beer lines


One of the problems that concern dispensed draft beer is the cleaning and the hygiene of beer lines. It is widely known that beer is a living substance that contains, among other things, some yeasts that tend to create sediments and build up bacteria within the beer lines. This phenomenon is also escalated by high ambient temperatures and product rotation, that is to say, the less beer is drafted, the more serious the problem becomes.

For this reason it is important to consider the cleaning process as part of the dispensing system itself, and not as an extra option. A measure that surely slows down the building up of deposits is the rinsing of beer lines at the end of every keg. In fact, at the end of the keg the beer line gets filled with froth and CO2 and, if no fob detector is installed, the froth tends to deposit. The beer flow from a new keg will not remove such deposit.

Therefore the importance of a
